Over the last few months, updates have been slow…and I have started to lose love with doing this blog…
I will keep the blog up, but will probably not update it anymore.

Can’t get enough of TRON in your life? If the previous gaming accessories didn’t do it for you, you might want to check out what the Parker Brothers have come up with. They managed to design custom-made, limited-edition Lightcycles, obviously inspired by TRON. The best part is that these bikes are apparently street-legal models, and made to the exact specs of the movie bike. They’re planning to build five of these bikes, each with a different color (red, blue, yellow, green, and orange). It sports some rather large dual hubless wheels, along with carbon fiber bodies. It’s designed for everyday street use, and will set you back $35,000 each.
I told you it existed….

After a long wait and (too?) many rumors, the Nintendo 3DS has finally been announced today. The form factor is not a surprise, but the quality of the display is, and it’s a very good surprise. I had it in my hands for about 20mn and I was able to real-time 3D demos of Mario Kart, Metal Gear Solid (3), Nintendogs and more. I also a couple of blockbusters movies (clips). Continue reading »

It is finally here, and previous speculations are proven correct – Nintendo has announced the brand new 3DS handheld console that will bring 3D gaming to the masses, especially for those who are always on-the-go! Its 3.5″ display is located on the upper segment of the console, where it offers stereoscopic 3D sans the need for special glasses. There is also a 3D depth slider on the right side of the 3D display which you can adjust to suit your eyes, and we’re not sure whether the more “3D” things look, the faster your battery life is drained. Read more about the Nintendo 3DS in the extended post.
As with the DS, the bottom display will be touch-enabled only, but we figure out that things might change in the future – after all there is always room for improvement. A couple of cameras at the back of the Nintendo 3DS also enables you to capture and view photos in stereoscopic 3D, although don’t expect it to have the “wow” factor of a large 3D screen.
Not only can you enjoy 3D games, 3D movies are also part of the equation although no concrete plans for the playback of 3D movies have been announced yet. This is where an online store would come in handy, don’t you think?
